School is not geared to help students or staff. Students are very young in age and mindframe.

Beautiful campus with a small student body

Pros

The campus is lovely with a small student body. Great new music hall is bringing great performers to campus. Working on a college campus can be a great work environment. Great benefits package.

Cons

Staff members have gone more than seven years without a pay increase due to state budget problems. Salaries do not move within range. Hoping the economy changes so some of this might change.

I really enjoyed my time working two jobs at Sonoma State, they were always considerate of my school schedule as well as other activities. They allowed for creativity and it was great to be working with other students.

Cons

I don't really have any Cons for my time at Sonoma State, but maybe just some more connections to other industries once you leave school.
