      Pros

      There is a strong sense of family and pride of ownership in Sony. You want to work hard not just for yourself but for your team and for the customers who buy the products and solutions. You'll stay on the cutting edge of consumer electronic while working at Sony. Super flexible on PTO and on work-life balance here.

      Cons

      Budget considerations were always a concern for projects. You'll have to work hard to win support for your ideas and productize for customers. You may find yourself spending more time selling your ideas than actually innovating on new ones.

      Pros

      Very nice compensation packages and product discounts were one of the main draws to the organization. Experience working with different departments help cultivate togetherness.

      Cons

      Different management styles were causing friction among everyone in the department caused decline of morale. Favoritism was a main issue that was brought up to senior management and they just continued the course.

      Sales position is ok, no career path

      Pros

      Different products to work with to sell. If you are knowledgable in many sections job will be much easier, such as cameras, televisions, computers. Base pay is ok.

      Cons

      Very difficult to work with commission, you only get commission from extended warranty sales, which are very hard to sell. Working in specific sections can make it even harder to get commission. Average sales employee in my opinion has no future.
