      Sony was fun to begin with but quickly fell off pushing for numbers that did not truly reflect the ability of the sales

      Pros

      Exposure to new electronics was great. The friends and family discount at times could be quite good too, but not on all products.

      Cons

      Upper management was very detached from stores, being located outside of the state, and did not always make relevant decisions. The pay was made to look good with bonuses and commissions during the interview. After the economy turned, the bonuses got smaller due to unrealistic goals for the economy and a "restructuring" of the commission scale. by management.

      Pros

      Opportunity to deal with different kind of product and understand different kind of technologies. Opportunity to travel to Japan for project discussion. And flexi working hour.

      Cons

      Promotion according to seniority. Local employee have limited authority to make critical decision. Japanese management will always overall the decision from local management.
