      Change is constant - more responsibilities added to shrinking personnel base every quarter.

      Pros

      Remote & flexible working schedules allowed but is given at your manager's discretion- no corporate-wide culture.

      Cons

      -Low pay (well under market rate) -Poor HR culture- HR rep is not on your side. -Consistent increases in responsibilities while minimizing availability of resources. Associated pay increase either nonexistent or negligible. -Inequitable distribution of work within department -Extremely bureaucratic -Managers can get in the way of promotions/inter-department transfers. -Corporate politics- need to align with the right people to advance. Advancement not necessarily based on merit or ability.

      Great access to cutting edge technology Access to high level executives Pretty decent pay Good deals on new products (to buy and borrow) Fun projects, great experience

      Performance reviews are a joke, they don't mean anything to your advancement Poor career tracks, don't feel like I'm going anywhere Need to make things happen yourself Poor management with respect to guidance, advice, assistance, etc.

      Extremely poor management, lack of communication from Senior Management to staff. Promotions seem to be based on a popularity contest. If you are willing to kiss the ring, and if they like you, you may be promoted. This company's Asian culture is resistant to aggressive strong willed employees who are used to merit based advancement
