People are nice but company doesn't take care of their employees

Pros

Mission driven and a commitment to addressing disparity in healthcare. People are nice

Cons

Benefits are eye wateringly expensive. Compensation is below industry average. There has been minimal changes but the quality and cost is not feasible. Especially coming from a healthcare company. Also there is a severe lack of communication between departments (specifically HR) that requires multiple outreach with minimal chance of getting HR specific questions answered. Just not a great place to work.

People are nice but benefits, pay and communication are extremely limiting

Pros

The employees believe in the mission and are generally supportive,, and the overall day-to-day work is extremely high quality, Even with some significant leadership changes. Their commitment to DEI in healthcare is commendable.

Cons

The benefits are costly, even though there has been a small incremental improvement; the cost (deductibles and weekly contributions) is eye-wateringly high, and the overall coverage is extremely basic, especially considering that Sound Physicians is a healthcare company. The pay structure is also relatively modest for the amount of work required. Also, there is a severe lack of communication between departments (especially in HR) and how information is communicated.
