Leadership & Care

Business Outlook

Pros

- Leadership Tract - Pooled experience among hundreds or programs - Amazing CEO, CMO, and regional medical directors - Ability to network and meet many outstanding colleagues and other intensivists

Cons

- Knowing a percent of our revenue goes to an investment firm. While we have never been pressured by anyone, its a very unfortunate fact and just where medicine is going

Thank you for your dedication and commitment to patients, your team, and Sound. We appreciate that you've put down roots with your local critical care practice and hope you'll continue to evolve your career with us. At a time when the healthcare industry is struggling, we feel lucky to be a strong physician-led organization with the financial strength to invest in our clinicians and the ways in which we're bringing exceptional care to patients. Still, we hear you on compensation and growth opportunities. Have you connected with your regional chief medical officer? We encourage you to share with them, and you’re also welcome to share at belong@soundphysicians.com. — The Sound team

We’re grateful to have you as a physician on our team and thank you for your years of service to patients. It’s nice to know that our move toward more local autonomy is resonating with you and your practice, and that our flexible staffing models are working in action. Thank you, too, for acknowledging our update to our 401k benefits – this change comes as a result of valuable feedback from our colleagues! Still, we strive to be better and take your feedback to heart. We hear you here – but if you’ve got more to say, we welcome it at belong@soundphysicians.com. — The Sound team
