Pros

Making a difference in the lives of the patients and families impacted each day, while working collaboratively with the entire hospitalist and hospital team.

Cons

Working under the Sound Physician Corporation, who has little insight to the everyday operations of each hospital and how unique they truly are; therefore one model cannot work nationally. Leadership who run the organization from their homes or hotel rooms with little desire to have those on the front line have a voice. Little to no areas of opportunity for growth.

Beware deadly land mines

Pros

Superior mission and repeatable outcomes.

Cons

Like an Agatha Christie novel, you never will know who “done you in.” The communication is terrible! “People Support” is not supportive (and I am not sure they are actually people, either!). Back-channeling is endorsed and tacitly supported. Non-providers work scared. Everyone keeps a diary. Don’t make waves, do not offer a better mousetrap, and most of all, do not call out an HR mid-level for performing in such a way that a tragedy was narrowly avoided and a travesty executed.

Thank you for sparing a moment to share your review. We take great pride in our mission to enhance patient care nationwide, and it's heartening to hear that you found inspiration in this endeavor. However, your critical feedback regarding your experience is duly noted, and we will earnestly consider it
