Pros

Absolutely no pros for this company!

Cons

Worst company ever. From the benefits to management. NP's beware! Worst experience. The recruiter will quote you a salary, then make the contract shady and short you out of $6,000/year. None of the physicians have any idea what a NP can do. Treat you like glorified nurses. Just an overall poor management. The chief hospitalist I worked with made sure you were aware his time was way more important than yours. I couldn't wait to be finished with my employment there. I was treated so poorly, along with the other NP's I worked with.

Pros

Not much to commend on

Cons

Lies and more lies. Zero support at a professional or personal level. Physicians treated just like business expenses and numbers. Intimidation and threats at any attempt to raise concerns or issues. Expected to work like dogs, ask no questions. At our particular site, >90% turnover over 5 years, the overall business model is to hire new grads, visa needing doctors-who are less likely to stand up to admin and put their heads down and work like slaves, exploiting their choice to live and work in America. Micromanagement, treating their doctors like easily replaceable commodities and verbally saying so on a daily basis. Secretaries have more respect from higher-ups than the daily working doctors. General attitude on a daily basis is "we pay you so we own you". The only thing that matters is the bottom line-nothing else. Physicians have ZERO respect here. Not a single doctor at our site was happy to work for them. Personally, I quit as soon as my contract was up and I no longer had a visa related obligation to work for them.

Pros

everyone sings the same tune about leadership and shoves impractical expectations down your throat and it may sound appeasing initially wanting to be a better physician initially... (only pro) but then you realize this company is just trying to squeeze the last cent out of every patient you treat while utilizing minimal resources.

Cons

- underpaid compared to other docs in same locality and field - horrid medical insurance and benefits, sad your own doctors don’t get decent benefits (tells you a lot about the company itself) - they call you off during low census unpaid, imagine going through decades of schooling and training only to have them tell you not to show up to work not enough patients. they only want you to work when you’re constantly busy. - unrealistic expectations of quality while seeing a high number of patients and being underpaid, imagine the moral at the physician level
