Not enough pay

Pros

Direct management and team are great.

Cons

As many others have noted, Sound pays business colleagues well below market if they're loyal and have been with the company for 3+ years. They hire new people into the company at more reasonable salaries, but then that means those who have been loyal and dedicated a lot of time and effort to the company are making less than the new guy. You have a CHANCE of getting up to a 3% "merit increase" each year if your performance is good enough. In this economy, 3% is a joke, and even in a better economy, it's a joke. The C-Suite constantly gets questions about higher pay and constantly deflects them. It's clear there are things happening in the background that will be brought to light sooner than later, which has affected pay and retention. C-Suite simply doesn't care anymore and that very negatively affects all of us "peons" below. There has also been A LOT of turnover in the last year or so and rather than look inwardly at certain managers being a part of the problem, they instead ask "what can we do?" and then proceed to ignore all suggestions.

Pros

Lots of hardworking people who are helpful and kind. I got lots of experience in healthcare.

Cons

They always promote work life balance but it was bad in my department. Even got worst when they made us full time remote. I was working longer and felt like i was online more resolving issues. No appreciation to the employees especially the once who are left after people left. Benefits are expensive. Not focused on employee retention; lots of turnover. Pay is much less than market

Pros

No positive thing to say.

Cons

Management covers up racism and do not want to address it. They dismiss you if you complain of racism rather than help to stop it. Some physicians do not want to train someone of color, they single you out and embarrassed you in front of everybody. Management aware, but not doing anything about it. The supervisor follows you around, spying, and even to the door of the bathroom, making the work environment unbearable.
