Pros

Salary and benefits are quite good.

Cons

No opportunities to advance; executive leadership always seems to hire externally (particularly from LA and DC). Managers and directors fear creative solutions and innovation because they’re deathly afraid of media cycle. Board doesn’t care about the ST work; they only care about getting service and benefits for their communities. It’s stifling working here.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! Our fare engagement program is in the middle of a big change to become more equitable (the public can learn about it here: https://www.soundtransit.org/ride-with-us/how-to-pay/fares/fare-engagement) and we appreciate the feedback. If you ever have more input to give to our HR team, we'd love to hear it!
