Pros

Benefits knowledge of staff in roles.

Cons

Government job, limited thinking outside the box. A practice of not my job, very few people advance. Still good boys company, managers promote friends and people with outside connections. Managers are not held accountable for managing employees (in annual review). No process to award outstanding workmanship for employees to submit changes in the organization.

Pros

New and expanding systems in rail, light rail, and transit. Rapid growth and development from design and build to operations Good people doing good things

Cons

New and expanding systems have challenges in all areas. Multiple large projects at once can strain systems and processes.
