Pros
Sourcetoad is the kind of place that I've always wanted to work at. I am surrounded by very smart people, doing complex things, and I get to be involved in what we do. The stuff I design and build gets implemented in the real world in very big venues, and actually makes a difference. You don't have to beg and plead for raises or money either. Negotiations are always for and productive. Compensation has been improving, and is now pretty competitive. Benefits are excellent. I've gotten to travel to tons of countries in Europe while working here, and been able to see a lot more of the world than I thought.
Cons
- Sometimes we run out of my favorite beers in the mini fridge and shopping doesn't come in for another week. - I have not liked all the choices for movie night. I don't get all the Nick Cage references.
