Pros

The immediate managers and teams are all good people who care.

Cons

Upper management doesn't care about the employees. They make promises that they are taking actions to help but never do so it's just lip service. The new CIO created an environment of fear where people are afraid to do their jobs and have something unexpected happen or make a mistake. They are also afraid to add their guidance and helpful opinions due to fear of HR retaliation. HR is consistently being used as a weapon to keep people down or usher them out the door. The turnover in the field support and service desk manager role speaks for itself. The employees are so beat down that they don’t even attempt to speak or care to ask any questions on the divisional IT meeting.

Pros

Great co-workers, decent shift differential

Cons

Understaffed, overworked, no support from the top. No overtime pay until you work 80+ hours. Non-degree employees treated like non-essential employees.
