There is NO work/family balance. seen many of gentlemen who now have ex wives because they become engulfed in work every day. North Campus is an absolute joke right now when it comes to getting things done and you CANNOT plan anything without burning up vacation because your schedule can change on a whim. Don't believe the scheduling and think everything will be hunky dory because it will change.

There is no work/life balance. On the odd occasion that you have a day off, you will be so exhausted that you would rather sleep non-stop than visit with your family/friends. The managers care WWWAAAYYY more about the product you are creating than your health and well-being. For example...If you are to receive a major blow to the head one night and go to let your supervisor know that you could be seriously hurt, you will NOT be sent to a clinic to see if you are concussed...you will be scolded for leaving your machine and not producing their beloved wire. Get sick..I DARE you...You will receive a "point: if you call out sick. These will accumulate and you will be fired because you don't want to come to work and get everybody sick. No set schedule. You will be tossed around like a rag doll (days to nights and nights to days; 8 hours to 12 hours and visa versa) You will not have time to recuperate in between these changes. You will be expected to "get with the program" and MAKE WIRE!!! There will be a time when you are so exhausted that you just want to quit...and you may..You will be so tired will-will not remember quitting. Last but not least..You will tell yourself that it can't get much worse, and then it will.. good luck.
