Pros

Weekly pay, some paid holidays, consistent schedule.

Cons

Nepotism and favoritism runs rampant here. Where there’s smoke there’s fire, everything mentioned below is true. I thought I’d give this company the benefit of the doubt, but I regret that decision. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

Where to start... let's start with the pay. Plan on getting the money when you start because you won't be rewarded as time passes. They definitely on reward the so called "Friends" that kiss their rearends! Plan on the so called "friends" to do little to no work and hide while you do it all. Also, plan on being around mostly 2 faced people that are attempting to be a " New" so called Friend. They will talk crap about you to the manager and Owners! If a situation happens don't think for a minute you will get to explain anything be on your behalf. They will not even ask and will make any decisions based on BS and lies fomed. You will not be rewarded for your Ides or the fact you bring intelligence and common sense to the table. Be prepared to be demoralized by the so called staff that carries any type of license that the company feels is more important than you. There is one person who I can think of directly that has cussed me out for no reason other I exerted all my efforts to make a situation better. By the way he treated me that way in front of the other staff members.

Pros

I joined Southwood Realty after a long 14 year career with another large management company. For the first time in many years I finally feel as though there are no walls between me and the executive management team. There is no better work life balance then the one Southwood supports. For once I am not overloaded to the the point that work has to go home with me or there being a need to put in excessive over time that goes unrecognized.

Cons

Although they are a little behind the industry norm what they do works! It was an adjustment but it was definitely one worth making to me.
