      Pros

      You are able to work 12 hour days if you like for 6 days a week or the 60. Money is good because with overtime it adds up. The environment is phenomenal, everyone there is helpful, respectful and brilliant

      Cons

      The downside is the long hours, if you are someone who values their free time and are at SpaceX. You should reevaluate why you are here. I get reminded everyday when I walk through the factory. I see positive contribution, hard workers and dreamers.

      Fast but, getting soft

      Pros

      Aggressive nature can be a blast with the right team. I can honestly say my teammates are the best friends I have made at any point in my life.

      Cons

      The company is starting to get a bit soft. Adding a single member that doesn't have Mars as the main goal drags the whole team down.

      Interning as a Propulsion Engineer at SpaceX

      Pros

      Amazing place to work at with many fascinating teams and projects. You get to see rocket launches at least once a month. Interns are treated like full-time employees and we are given important tasks. Some events are organized for the interns and housing is in the same place making it easy to meet new people. Free shuttle from housing to SpaceX. SpaceX also helps pay for a gym membership.

      Cons

      Some projects have tight deadlines and require us to work long hours. You work on average 50 hours a week (But you also get overtime pay). Working too hard may result in burning out. People working at SpaceX are passionate about their jobs and don't mind putting in the extra hours.
