High level of trust in employees, even if new to the company and unproven Awesome perks (shop, food, froyo, rocket launches, etc) Team treated me like family Plenty of interesting projects Work environment allows employees to see rockets/rocket parts on breaks Feel like a part of history every time a rocket lands Very friendly culture Flexible schedule

Cons

Staffing is slim in most areas Intern housing is decent but expensive Low communication levels with management Crucial team members can take sudden vacations for weeks at a time (compounding the slim staffing) Almost zero training

You, literally, help build advanced rockets and spacecraft. High tech, fast pace company, a lot of opportunities to contribute. Launch days! You're part of something big and meaningful.

Cons

Extremely demanding, work/life balance needs constant attention and nurturing, quite a bit of executive overhead. Company is losing the start-up culture, shifting into a growing bureaucratic style as it scales.
