Pros

above average pay and that is being generous

Cons

everything is seniority based terrible work hours, seriously who wants to go in to work at 12:30 am non-climate controlled work environment management is to uptight and it is destroying morale I have seen so many people come and go within the very short time I have worked here (I myself am looking as well) wrecks your body; you leave every day with aching and sore joints and a stiff body equipment is not up to code

Horrible place to work

Business Outlook

Pros

Maybe you'll meet decent people

Cons

This is a horrible place they don't care about you at all or what you have going on in your life if you have kids and can't afford baby sitter or daycare or a 2nd job, spartannash comes before all of that so you'll have to quit your 2nd job because they need you to be available 24/7 to work and have no life or they don't want you, there flat out telling employees you need to quit your 2nd job it's not our problem if you can't survive only working here you need to be available to work at all times of the day,the pay is horrible for the work you do, you can be there for 15 years and they can hire someone off the street and they'll make more than you, they flat out lie about raises to get you to take another job at the store and then say do you have it writing that's what I told you, there spending $10,000 per store monthly on a robot to scan shelfs and spending probably millions a year to send all the store directors and people from corporate on retreats to florida but can't pay there workers a living wage and all always cutting hours, they lose so many customers because a customer will want something special ordered and there told we have ask corporate we'll get back to you in about a week when they can go to meijer or Walmart and have that same thing ordered that day and pick it up the next day, they literally have employees that smoke weed in the store, steal, hide in the bathrooms for hours, call in 40 times a year that still work there but the second you say you can't work a specific day or time your threatened tonhave your hours cut or be let go
