We are so glad you like working for an employer where being "Odd" is a good thing. Thanks for the feedback, it is heard loud and clear. We have a career track structure, you can ask your boss about yours, they should review it regularly with you.

Run!

Pros

a low paycheck while looking for another job!

Cons

Owner lives in a 750K home on Canyon Springs Golf course and continues to underpay its employees. Turnover is extremely high. Senior leadership is inexperienced. Company loves to tell people they are voted SA best places to work. In reality, its a purchased (fake) award from SA Biz Journal. Anyone with a little internet research can verify all the above. Growth opportunity does not exist and this place is a dead end job.

Dear Run, Sorry, we were not a match, it sounds like your heart was never in it if you were using your time to look for another job. I think you would be happy with the direction of the company. Over the past few weeks, the executive team held in-person meetings with every team in the company. In these meetings each of the concerns you shared were addressed. Each employee got to see how the company is performing and how the owners are investing in our employees. We also got to hear about all of the internal promotions in 2017 and the career track for each role, among many other items. We hope you found what you were looking for elsewhere and that you have a terrific career!

Wondering if Right Place...

Pros

Lots of time off. Managers don't pay attention to what you do or where you are much of the time. Good co-workers and support from them when asked.

Cons

Really low pay. Weak management team. Managers don't manage and don't engage employees - just stay in their offices pretty much all day. The only promotion I have seen since working here was to an employee who never came to work. Older employees manage a lot of accounts but seem to accept that they won't ever move up or get paid more.

Hello Houston Colleague, It has been a couple months since you left your review. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I am very sorry things weren't going well. I am hopeful that your experience is improving and you are getting the direction you need. It is our very sincere desire that all employees know their responsibilities and feel supported to succeed. I would encourage you to take another look at our career track program. As a reminder, you can find it on Oddball Insider or ask your manager to review in your next one on one. We've created a path for promotion within each role, as well as the career track for each role. While we can only promote as an opportunity presents itself, we have promoted over 15 employees internally, this year alone. This is in addition to promotions within a current role. If you feel you are a good fit for Spectrum, then we want to help you get where you want to go. Thanks again for sharing!
