Pros

Operators and office personnel are great to work with.

Cons

- Lack of leadership. There are no leaders, only Driver's. - Facilities are tired and worn. Presses are past the use by date and leak fluids continually. Operators struggle to keep equipment running. - Workplace has a culture of fear. "Accountability" is in the form of berating an employee loudly and publicly for mistakes. - Breaks and lunch periods are monitored. If an employee is detained and misses their break, it is not permissible to add an additional 10min onto their lunch period. Breaks and overtime are closely monitored. - Emphasis is on "making the numbers" for the month. - Investment is not in employees, facilities or equipment, in fact, annual time off has been reduced as a cost cutting measure. - If an employee has scheduled vacation or personal time off during the week and is then told it is mandatory to work the weekend, it is not counted as overtime pay because the employee used PTO during the week.

Pros

Compensation was ok- nothing to brag about

Cons

The company is all about drill; there's no respect or consideration for the individual. They treat their employees like slaves. Least vacation and personal time I've seen in any company I've ever worked for.

Pros

Exciting and innovative projects Advanced high-tech laser processes Engaging automation work A dynamic and competent engineering team

Cons

The company has a terrible culture, fueled by small-town gossip and politics that overshadow competency. There’s a significant rift between the dynamic engineering team (for the most part) and stagnant, inflexible leadership. One engineer, nearing retirement, is particularly obstructionist and resists any progress. After being bought by private equity and later DuPont, there’s been a noticeable lack of resources and support. The private equity ownership prioritizes extracting profits over investing in the company, all while demanding even higher profits, freezing bonuses, and halting even modest cost-of-living salary increases.
