If you work here, be prepared to feel overwhelmed and undervalued. The workload is heavy, the pay doesn’t match the level of responsibility, and many employees never get moved into the position they were originally hired for. Management tends to act only when it benefits them, not when the staff genuinely needs support.
Outside agency workers are paid significantly more, despite not knowing the residents, which creates tension and frustration among regular staff. Breaks are “required,” yet the amount of work and constant pressure makes them nearly impossible to actually take without falling behind.
Team culture can be very cliquey, and if you’re not part of the favored group, you’re often left to handle things on your own. Inter-department cooperation is minimal, especially with the kitchen, which turns simple requests into unnecessary stress.
Overall, this workplace took a serious toll on my mental well-being. Unless major changes are made in staffing, communication, leadership, and respect for employees, I would not recommend this place to anyone.
