Pros

Bi-weekly pay, commission pay, decent health care benefits, 401k, free coffee, 2 weeks vacation, paid time off

Cons

Constantly being live monitored and coached; coachings were repetitive; company decided to let the cat out of the bag as to our department being closed months ago, but would not let us know as to when it would be closing; did not take into effect that people's livelihoods were on the line; when asked when dept closure was going to take place, management advised us not to worry about it but to make sure our daily goals were met in order not to be terminated prior to when department was going to be shut down permanently;

Pros

Free Cable Benefits (health insurance, life insurance, etc.)

Cons

Competitor starting salary:22.50 Spectrum starting salary:12.25 You get emails critiquing your work 24/7, asking you to run calls on your off time. You are never good enough in the eyes of Spectrum. Your best is always your worse.

Pros

Free service if you work in a serviceable area, great sick/personal/vacation time and decent insurance packages. That's it. Everything else is terrible.

Cons

Ever since Charter bought out TWC, they've been making constant changes, (and from what I've read former bright-house employees have been affected as well), I went from loving this job and waking up ready to go to work, to despising climbing into my work truck every morning. Every time a "new" anything is implemented our numbers plummet and the company admits no fault even in the case(of very well documented) faulty refurbished equipment. Scheduled to work 10 hour days but because of overbooking and a terrible routing system, (i.e. Not enough COMPETENT routers) they frequently turn into 12 hour days and that's not to mention the mandatory overtime they started making us participate in and the LYING saying it's because it's busy in the summer instead of the real reason, which is the increase in people being fired or (the majority) quitting. Metrics are impossible to hit with the amount of faulty equipment that gets issued and the fact that they cut the time given to complete jobs and the inability to add time to them except in very specific circumstances. Listen to your employees and start caring about them and the customers instead of all the dummies at the top of americas corporate food chain.
