Pros

Pay Benefits Some great people Clean location Big kitchen

Cons

Not hitting numbers? You will only go on a call every single day to explain why you are not to upper management until you do. Even if hitting your numbers you are still expected to do better. Micromanaging. You get an email about a project, then a meeting request for said project, then reminded everyday the project is due. No winning. If you are excelling at something there is also something you are not doing well and trust me, you will know about it Forget highways are closed and a giant blizzard snows your car in at the store. You are expected to stay open "for the customers" who have the awareness to not travel in dangerous conditions. But prepared to get yelled at for your numbers being low during those conditions Customer service will lie to customers, rates will change or channels will delete without the customer knowing. Guess who has to deal with that? Retail store. Oh but you can turn that extremely angry customer into a sales opportunity. Forget you almost have to call the cops on them for their yelling, continuous verbal abuse and vulgarity. Unobtainable sales goals. People need to go against policy to hit goals. Oh and if the retail stores need goals to hit, why do you let customers sign up online and make them come to the store anyway. Some agents get stuck for almost an hour setting up mobile phones activated online and they get zero credit. But you must hit those goals right?

Pros

You can make some serious money with little to no training and/or higher education.

Cons

It's a call center. Seriously, I have known some of the best sales experienced people come and go from here. The turnover rate is atrocious. Your schedule will change depending on your performance. There is little to no actual "selling" yet you're expected to stick to a script if you arent hitting your numbers. *Advice- get through the spiel quickly so that you can have a conversation with the customer. If you actually try to sell the way they want you to, then you will fail. Just take orders as quick as you can to get on to the next customer. The top sellers on the floor do this and you should too. Make as much money as possible before they micromanage you back into unemployment.
