Pros

Fellow peer employees are very nice and try to give you positive outlooks..as a new person. The health benefits are good. The free services are nice ..

Cons

Covid19..no empathy .. if you're sick that still expect you to be there even if your doctor has told you to stay home.So exposing other employees to your illness does not matter to them at all, wich right now during all of this ..the pattern ...isnt appropriate.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your concerns as we work together through these unprecedented times. As one of FEMA’s Community Lifeline sectors, our services are essential to hospitals, emergency first responders, government facilities, the news media and our communities to stay connected, help flatten the curve and protect the country. Making sure we deliver these vital communications while supporting our employees is our top priority. To that end, we recently made a number of changes to our operations that will help our employees better manage through this challenging time. These include an additional 15 days of paid time off to be used for any COVID-19 related personal need, increased social distancing plans in all of our call centers and operations facilities, and the option for remote work for employees whose jobs allow them to work outside the office without endangering our obligation to provide critical services.

Pros

Interesting work Some good people at various levels of the organization

Cons

All decisions are made at the executive level, EVP and above and they do not grasp the direction that work places are going in. The work from home policy is, there is no work from home. Not even when there is a global pandemic will they allow their employees who have laptops to work from home (even when advised by the CDC) Their inclement weather policy is if you can't make it into the office you have to take PTO They do not care about their employees, do not empower their people and are stuck in the 1980s

We appreciate your comments as we work together during these unprecedented events. We thank you for continuing to support our customers and communities to ensure they remain connected and safe.

Pros

Free streaming TV and a decent benefits package.

Cons

3 years to become vested in 401(k) Unable to take vacation time for 6 months after hire Work from home is frowned upon Here's my big one: Upper management is detached from reality. Recently, there has been a push to reduce the number of self inflicted outages. I agree that we should strive to get that number as close to 0 as possible. However, writing employees up or chastising them for making mistakes is not good management. We're all adults here and want to provide our customers the best experience possible. The Denver job market is tight, and you're shooting yourself in the foot by angering your employees.
