Pros

Great money (upwards of 10k a month if you sell a lot and don’t miss work Free/cable internet Work from home opportunity Decent healthcare/time off Coaching almost every week with ways to improve Advancement possibilities You don’t have to take work home with you

Cons

Mandatory overtime Back to back calls easy to get burnt out Can be written up for things that other agents do on a daily basis Not an even level sales playing field when it comes to ethics Orders are constantly being stolen You can sell every service on a call but still be criticized on your call behaviors Out of training you are stuck with 2-11 until you can bid for a new shift Changes made daily Favoritism plays a big role in job security

Pros

The hourly is 20$ an hr, and you’re expected to sell mobile services to unsuspecting people who already hate the internet service. They hype up the benefits way too much for only offering 4 weeks of parental leave, it used to be 2 weeks before October. Free Internet, and HBO max, no mobile service discounts though. You can move up only after 6 months of working, the training period does not count. After the 6 months you have to take a test, interview and perform above average, must have no write ups and perfect attendance. The “raise” is a dollar more and more responsibility.

Cons

They don’t care about you, you’re just a number. They say they are “understanding” but you can get written up for calling in, a full absence is missing more than 30 minutes, a partial absence is less than 30 minutes. They do give a lot of merch. Expect to dress professionally even in non customer facing job roles. When they raise the hourly, the tenured employee’s hourly does not increase.

Pros

Decent Benefits. 401k matching up to 6%. Retirement contributions of 3%. Tuition reimbursement of$10,000 Good if you want a “slow” and steady career

Cons

For a fortune 100 company, the base pay is much less than it's peers. Promotions take forever. Yearly raises are meager.
