The benefits and the pay rate- it stops there....

I have never witnessed such inconsistency in any contact center I have worked. NO ONE is on the same page, and management looks at you like your an idiot if you attempt to ask for clarification. The money this company wastes versus investing in taking the time to pull consistent processes is heart breaking. I was very happy to have the oppertunity to work for Spectrum, but should have known everything said to get you in the door is nothing but lip service. It amazes me that so many have stayed as long as they have. The time spent watching all the HR videos is nothing but a waste. The violations I witnessed while there were in everyone's face and I find it incredibly hard to buy that HR is not aware. Saying something is not enough- stand behind your policies are do not bother to expect everyone to follow your rules.

Don’t Work There!

Pros

I made a few great friends there! You had to, to survive. We all had a common enemy, Spectrum.

Cons

This was the worst job of my life. Most people didn’t make it past training, if they did it wasn’t long before they left. I worked there 3 yrs when I left there was no other person that started in my training class still there. Just the vets that were there before me a few that stuck through the 3 yrs and a constant flow of newbies. Your just a number and its a cut throat sales floor. They don’t need you to be nice to customers just upsell as fast as you can! They would take your hard earned spiff for no good reason. I was told that mngr was fired, but that is the environment there.
