Pros

Not micro managed. My hard work determines my compensation. A shorter sales cycle than in my previous positions. Great support with tools and marketing materials.

Cons

Competition from other departments, a bit cut-throat. There are circumstances beyond a salesperson's control in having installs happen. You have to sell dependably above quota to make quota numbers. I am located away from headquarters which limits career advancement.

Pros

They say you get free cable but its really discounted cable for your home.

Cons

Big company with multiple layers of useless upper management. Sales goals increased yearly by 25-35%. Lots of turnover in sales department required current AE's to take on more workload without commission compensation.
