Hard work for little pay

Pros

Weekly Pay. Cool co workes

Cons

Just over minimum wage. Understaffed. Breaks were nearly impossible to get, unless you smoked then you got all of the breaks you needed. Managers hung out in the back office while everyone else was running around. I had to eat my lunch standing up because we were not allowed to eat in the dining area and the managers always took up seats in the back. Start off part time, was working full time hours but was still part time. No discounts on anything.

Overworked and underpaid

Pros

Benefits Performance reviews The pay can be flexible but I guess that’s based on your experience and what role you’re in

Cons

If you are in a managerial role you have to micro manage everything. After being brought into a management training program with the promise of looking into district manager, time management each shift is a complete bust. Try coming in at 4:30am with 10 or more things to go, a worksheet to fill out, and people to manage. Along with checking in vendors, ordering product, and taking care of customers... you have no time away from the register. Literally people will walk in and throw money at you for gas. This is no joke people. You have poop that ends up in bathrooms that you as a manager have to clean up, call offs you have to show up for because the GM usually is not picking up their phone. And any drama between employees gets thrown at you to take care of. And oh, dont let you DM visit while there’s a line up people, they’ll be sure to point out the cooler holes that need to be stocked when you’ve been behind a register for your whole 10 hour shift, 5 days a week or more

Not a place to be long term

Pros

Weekly Pay, meet some nice people, maybe connections for better opportunities from regular customers.

Cons

If you've been there longer you basically get away with everything, while the newer ones are stuck with working holidays and if someone calls out you have no choice but to stay. That happens a lot with no penalty for the seniors. If you just need something to make some extra cash for school ect then i'd still recommend. Just stay away from the drama. Work and go home.
