Pros

Vacation time is nice and decent benifits but that's about it. It's pretty horrible.

Cons

Purposely understaffed, no breaks, unbelievable expectations, no discount or free beverage, low pay, turnover rate is very high

Pros

Flexible schedule, great benefits, vacations, paid holidays off. Awesome job if you enjoy working with the public. High energy, fast paced job.

Cons

Often work a few days till 11pm then you have a few days where you start at 5am. Work 10 hour days with no breaks, no allowance to even eat food away from customers. Although title is CO manager and Speedway wants you to give direction, make decisions, be a leader.... Store manager will override your decisions or won't back you up if you should discipline an employee

Pros

Good customers, great deals, some good co-workers.

Cons

Labor hour allotments are a joke. You have no hours to keep anyone when its slow and then when it gets busy you have no employees to do what you need. Exceptional Customer Experience sheet is anything but that. There are so many tasks that "must" be completed that even fully staffed at a busy store you can't complete them and provide the quality customer service demanded as well. If your short handed thanks to the hours calculations its either get criticized constantly about the ECE or be yelled at by customers because someone is trying to finish the tasks and not running register. Bonus goals are set for cashiers that are impossible to reach, then they are constantly hounded about them until they quit causing more staff shortages. The rewards card program is great for the customers but it should be up to them whether they want it or not. Stop trying to have cashiers force it down their throats every time they buy something. Its frustrating customers and cashiers alike.
