Pros

Weekly pay, 401k w/ match, health insurance. Most of the customers are amazing and friendly. However, you have to deal with knuckleheads too, and angry knuckleheads can make for a challenging day....I loved working for Speedway as a Part-Time CSR. Shift Leader position was ok. Any higher, I don't recommend.

Cons

Long hours, no down-time, No breaks for anyone, and insanity tends to run the show. Store Managers: plan on working 50 hours a week (that's what you are required to work), but on average I worked 55+, with hitting 70 hours a week more times than I care to remember. No Overtime. As a store manager, you are the Only salaried employee in your store. Do the math. Your store will call you on your days off. Also, no where near enough hours are provided to stores to run effectively and to the level mgmt wants them run at. Random monthly inspections, a chunk of the SM bonus. Get rid of it! SM's lose focus on the customers and everything suffers because of the dang inspection, there's little consistency too.
