Pros
The customers were one of the aspects i liked about working for speedway and my co workers management excluded we were like a family banded together in our dislike in working for speedway and in our desire to want to get the heck out of there
Cons
breaks were not offered, management demeaning and putting down and cussing out employees in front of customers and other employees, favortism was a given happened all the time and back stabbing and gossip was rampant within the store. My experience with speedway was one in which i dealt with so many two faced people that it was difficult to determine who exactly i was dealing with. They were nice to your face but would stab you in the back once you left the room. The higher up the ladder for example store manager and district manager the more two faced and phony they are. i advise you to watch your back in regards to what you do or say because they will look for any little reason to fire you if they do not like you or if you do not agree with them. If you have a personal life forget about that when you work for speedway they totally disregard that aspect of an employees life. They expect you to live breathe, and sleep speedway it should be the number 1 priority in the employees life and that is wrong. In regards to myself i chose to quit. I would not recommend working for this company i would rather be unemployed than to work for speedway, i would not wish employment at speedway on even my worst enemy.
