Pros

Flexibility, if you've got the right manager, and all the hours you wanted die to call offs and lack of employees. Weekly pay, and fast paced.

Cons

I worked for this company for almost 15 years. They're an underhanded, lying, and deceitful company. I still have a lot of friends that work for this company and corporate has been asking managers to come to glass door and makeup good reviews so that it looks like a better company to work for than it actually is. Think twice about working for this company as a member of the management team.

Pros

Great benefits, multiple health plans, bonuses, company match of 401k, tuition reimbursement, paperwork is minimal and very streamlined, stable employment, many advancement opportunities.

Cons

Minimum 50 hours per week, poor work life balance, they don't provide you with enough man hours to effectively do your job, always cutting back on employee hours, expect too much out of us, they don't pay CSRs enough to attract talent needed to effectively run the business. Not enough time to train employees effectively.

Pros

The best part about working at Speedway are the people you work with. I have had the opportunity to meet some good people along the journey with Speedway.

Cons

This company struggles with fostering a positive culture, honesty, setting attainable goals, work life balance, and continues to add responsibilities to store roles while reducing staff and no change in pay. They have a good training program on paper but they don't have systems in place to support execution so people are trained properly. There's a culture of not caring about the welfare of the employees while promoting that its a priority. There's also a culture of disrespect with this organization. They don't respect the hard working people who work extra hours to try to meet the demands placed on them.
