Low pay at store level across the board from DM's down. No balance, upper (C-Level) management are completely disconnected with the reality of how much Operations hate their jobs due to no work balance, staffing and huge bonus reductions based on a broken way to calculate. Some GMs are making 8-12k less per year over the last 2 years!! Net Margins = Profitable store or Non-Profiable store. Make it simple ways for the GMs to obtain good bonuses, that way they stay, stay engaged, and you have less turnover. Base it on performance, not some financial formula that's great but should not be used to calculate a GMs bonus and rating them if they are good or not. Don't make LPBE the end all be all. Worst turnover in the Cstore industry. People are getting snagged up for more money from all levels. Overall most days are and can be miserable to go to work. The coworkers is what keeps most employees going so they don't let down their people.
