Pros

I liked working for the company itself, it was the GM that was crooked. Felt like family.

Cons

Insult of a pay. I was a manager and only making $8.95 an hour. My first two stores were great. When I was placed at my permanent store, that's when I was screwed. The GM would manipulate my time punches in the computer in order to save on labor. When I confronted him and asked our DM to look into it, the GM put in his two weeks and fired me. I was fired although I had never called off, never been written up and always put extra effort in my duties.

Pros

Lots of changes for the better I hope but Not in this territory

Cons

Bad district manager shows favortism. Her last 4 promotees have less time or experience combined than I do. All promoted with higher salary than me. I have 10 years in 4 as asst. Mgr, 3 as food service mgr. Finally promoted to co mgr but at less wage then young 26 year old men. Definately age discrimination.

Pros

Pay rate was $8 per hour, a little above minimum wage (at least for Indiana), sometimes they'll also have sports promotions where employees can wear sports jerseys instead of those uniforms

Cons

No lunch breaks, no employee discounts, place was also swarming with fruit flies (health hazard), lack of proper equipment (gloves are not given for tasks like cleaning bathroom or doing outside garbage), lack of proper training (got yelled because I did something wrong, that I was never properly trained to do), no fixed training "train as you go", fear of either getting yelled at by angry customers on one side and corporate on the other, 24 hours - no manager on midnights, unethical practices - not allowed to call off if manager is on vacation (I had to come to work even when feeling sick), not allowed to fight back in a robbery attempt,
