Pros

Projects are varying in purpose and scope. Autonomous work day. The work life balance is supreme. Pay works great for me. The position has a shelf life, which is a problem for some not all.

Cons

Politics are bad. Culture has territorial mentality. No company specific training. Reliance on nationally standardized training. Accomplishment cohesion. No process improvement outlet to change the culture.

Pros

A weekly check was the only good thing.

Cons

I worked here for a few months. The store manager was very arrogant and unprofessional to his employees and customers. Claimed he was feared by everyone in his district, which was comical. I witnessed him cuss a customer out, which was highly unprofessional. Yet, he still can keep his job. He was always on the phone and taking "smoke breaks." He would even say the job isnt a serious job and he basically coasts because he is on salary. I gave the company a 2 week notice because I got a job that was way better paying with a great compay. They called the next day and told me don't come back after I got off for the day. They couldn't do it at the job because of what I mentioned earlier, unprofessionalism. Days were long and stressful. No breaks. Crappy pay. If you have a degree do not come here for an in store type of job, it's a waste of time.

Pros

Great loyal customer base Benefits are decent for full time and available for part time, but limited

Cons

No straight communication - everything is a surprise Poor recruiting and extremely poor training - EXTREME turnover Store Managers do not support staff - spend time doing 'paperwork' over helping run store District Manager is absent and unknown - cannot even run a store Long hours for lower pay (required to cover those who call in sick without question, even working 16 to 24 hours in a stretch)
