Pros

You can succeed here if you are a self starter and able to work, learn, and solve problems without needing someone to lead the way at every step. Employees are expected to deliver and also have enough influence to do so. Meaning influence to use good tools, improve process, select technology. - Variety of technology and business domains (As a company I dare say we can truly write software for anything) - Casual environment - Flexible hours - Not a lot of middle management - Ethical, fair, honest and humble ownership

Cons

- Open office environment is overstimulating (you will be able to see and hear everything) and not always good place to concentrate and do your best work - Too many projects where we inherited a mess from someone else and are confined by their poor choices which prevents you from doing your best work

Pros

Challenging environment, as in you need to keep up with your knowledge! Many different projects going on in all different technologies and languages. Great people to work with and you will learn from them. Many different teams to be involved with. Flexible schedule.

Cons

You get out what you put in. If you only work with one language or have an ego this is not the place for you. You need to be flexible and willing to be challenged and learn. Harder to get on a long term project.

Sincere, honest, on the rise

Pros

The company has made great strides in being transparent and sincere. Financials, projections, and vision are openly shared with the team on a regular basis. There have been some ups and downs but at the core it’s a great team and has a leader who cares and learns from mistakes. Extremely flexible schedule. They trust the skill of their employees and enable them to do great work. Sick days and personal days are flexible and don’t eat into vacation - they care about each other.

Cons

Large clients have taken a large percent of work in the past which when projects are dropped leave the company in a tough spot financially. They have been working hard to diversify and mitigate these lulls and the affect on employment numbers.
