A great healthcare company

Pros

Plenty of resources and ample training and mentorship, never left to just figure things out on your own. Unique benefits such as direct primary care and student loan reimbursement. Welcoming and positive environment where people really truly care about patients.

Cons

Voluntold to take on extra responsibilities when company is short staffed, but not compensated more unless you work overtime (if you finish everything in your normal hours, not compensated extra for doing another persons job). No paid maternity leave (which of course is sadly typical of U.S. companies). A lot of big changes recently, but not going about implementing them the best. Not giving staff enough time to understand and work out important changes and questions before trying to roll it out to patients.

Pros

The people are the biggest positive! In general, everyone has a mission of serving others and providing great care, support, and community building. It is great knowing that your work directly affects others lives on a fundamental level and you truly get to "help" make a difference in peoples lives.

Cons

Unfortunately, the opportunity for growth is limited and salary increases have not kept up with the current state of the world and economy.
