Pros

Fully remote culture with a high level of flexibility and work-life balance. The company also offers generous time off, including company-wide R&R days and a strong holiday policy, which makes it easier to disconnect and avoid burnout. The people are one of Sprout Social's biggest strengths. Colleagues are supportive, collaborative, and genuinely welcoming, creating an environment where it's easy to build relationships and work across teams.

Cons

The operational side of the business often feels disorganized, with unclear ownership and inconsistent processes. Cross-functional collaboration can be challenging because responsibilities are not always well defined, which frequently leads to work being passed between teams instead of being resolved efficiently. There is a noticeable lack of alignment and communication from leadership regarding strategy and priorities, making it difficult to understand the company's long-term direction and how individual teams contribute to it. Career development opportunities are limited, with little structured support for growth, internal mobility, or clear promotion paths. Professional development tends to depend more on individual circumstances than on a consistent framework. Success can also feel unevenly distributed. At times, visibility and opportunities appear to favor certain individuals, creating a perception that recognition and career progression are not always based on transparent or consistent criteria. Overall, stronger operational ownership, clearer strategic direction, more transparent communication, and a more structured approach to career development would significantly improve the employee experience.

WFH policy, benefits, healthcare, and autonomy from leadership are benefits

Cons

I've been through 3 CRO's since I've started with the company in 2024 as a BDR, frequent leadership changes. You have to be adaptable to make it in this company
