The employees, faculty and administration of St. Kate's are wonderful. The environment of the university as a whole is supportive and welcoming, resulting in a comfortable work environment with great coworkers.

Cons

There are usually few open positions within the university making it difficult to find other jobs or transition to work that would allow for further advancement or change.

Pros

St. Kate's is a wonderful institution and campus. Being a part of a strong mission and values gives you a lot of great experiences. The people who work there are wonderful and the students are amazing.

Cons

The work life balance makes it difficult to retain high quality staff, creating turn over and leaving overworked employees with each transition. Burn out is high and it makes collaborating as a whole campus difficult.

Pros

Wonderful team of people who care about furthering higher education, teaching students, and supporting that mission. Very relaxed environment with hardworking, talented individuals.

Cons

Unfortunately, the compensation is low. St. Catherine has a very nonprofit, service culture which doesn't provide very good compensation. It's a great place to get experience but not a great place to stay and grow due to the low pay.
