A great place to work. Friendly staff. Supportive community. We take care of patients from all walks of life and will never turn anyone down. Staff comes from some of the most prestigious fellowship programs

Cons

Limited food options in the hospital. Surrounding neighborhood may not be as safe

Major issues - BEWARE before even considering a job!!! A sinking ship

Pros

I cannot think of anything that is considered a "pro" for this hospital system. BEWARE before even considering a job unless you are desperate!

Cons

1. The funding has been cutback from the state and charity care reimbursement has been reduced due the affordable care act. The company is out of money. 2. Employee salaries are not equal to market value. 3. 7 Vice Presidents have been fired or have resigned. The hospital's bond rating has been impacted because of this. 4. Infrastructure is falling apart such as power, cooling, facilities, parking. 5. Unethical practices including HR as mentioned by others. 6. Most of the staff are afraid and do not know where to turn because their leaders are gone.
