Pros

Equipment update and always looking to improve. Several hospitals in the area and if you work PRN there tend to be a lot of hours to pick up.

Cons

Salary is below average. Management doesn't want to get involved with issues and tend to let the staff work it out. Hire students in at lower pay and then wonder why they get below par output. Need more senior staffing.

Pros

Most of the people in the offices are nice.

Cons

Worst group of racists and hateful people you will ever meet. The supervisors will gleefully use the N word, make fun of the handicapped people that work there and make horrible comments to the special needs people working there. If you don't have English as a first language they will ignore you and or make fun of you. Trans people who work there were especially reviled by the engineering supervisors, who, oddly enough, are brothers. When I reported a supervisor for calling my grandson the N word HR called me to a meeting and fired me for poor job performance. A month after receiving an excellent employee review. The hospital in Bethlehem not only tolerates racism, it cultivates it. This starts at the CEO and trickles down. Once during a meet my department director told me my wife dresses inappropriately. When I asked how it was any of his business he said we own you and your family. Horrible, ignorant, racist, homophobic and misogynistic are the tip of the iceberg to describe these people. They all worked together for 30 to 40 years so they get away with their behavior. Oh, they steal your overtime pay as well. In all the years the hospital has been in operation, not one person of color ever worked in engineering, how odd. Avoid this place!!
