Pros

Exciting and fast paced company with tremendous potential.

Cons

I have been with the organization for over three years and have found them to be exceptional on many counts. Sometimes the operating companies have less vision than the Standard Industries, the holding company.

Decent benefits but challenging team dynamics

Pros

Lunch accommodations and commuter benefits are decent

Cons

Workplace is very strict, which isn't the issue; it is the teams and people you are working with that are challenging. Comes off as professional until you start working with them, and they are far from being professional with direct yelling and arguments when something doesn't go their way. Careful who you form connections with

Save yourself the headache... avoid

Pros

Beautiful office building and view, paid Seamless lunch, good medical (although they did recently stop fully covering the mid-tier insurance).

Cons

This company is full of high-tension energy and very unusual (read: chaotic and demeaning) office dynamics. Upper management frequently raises their voices, sometimes yelling in ways that disrupt the office and make people anxious. Loud, confrontational behavior with expletives is common, and the culture rewards aggressiveness over collaboration. Communication from the top can be sporadic, secretive, and patronizing, leaving employees feeling cut out, talked-down-to, and unsure what’s expected. Highly competent employees struggle to succeed unless they adopt a more confrontational style. Layoffs happened without any formal company-wide notice, often coming as a surprise through bounced emails or indirect channels. If you value transparency, respect, and support in a workplace, look elsewhere—this environment is not built for it.
