      Pros

      Lots of growth opportunity at firm. New initiatives and local, regional, and national groups provide opportunity to contribute at a variety of scales. Great teams across many disciplines. Holiday shut down is one of many great perks.

      Cons

      Compensation or changes in compensation take too long to get caught up to industry standards. Perks and workplace environment help this though and outweigh the gap to a degree.

      Pros

      Exposure and resources, investment in technology and marketing systems. However the personal experience is non existent. Expands by acquisitions. No other word to describe.

      Cons

      It's a pyramid, expected to fit a mold. Diversity only for the worker bees. Management is an exclusive club. Watch you back especially from who smiles at your face but cons against your success

      Pros

      Offices located in nearly every major city.

      Cons

      Purely an acquisition company, from our offices experience. Quality of work takes a back seat to profit margins. Prior to being integrated into Stantec, we had upper management come in and sell us on the idea of sharing resources (people, expertise, workload) with other offices. Since we've become a part of Stantec, we've realized the current standard operating procedures doesn't promote office partnerships, but in fact discourages it. Meaning if one office is struggling to find work, it's in the best interest of another office to hoard all the work or they could find themselves in the same situation.
