Pros
The benefit structure at Stantec is good in terms of health insurance, 401K matching, and stock option matching. They have a wellness program to earn reductions in annual health insurance premiums, which is easy to participate in. Overall, in the Sacramento office there is flexibility in setting work schedules and some autonomy is granted in day to day work activities.
Cons
While autonomy can be a good thing, too much can leave employees feeling isolated. Stantec as a whole lacks focus on what the company's identity truly. Each office is left to organize themselves differently. The Sacramento office has local leadership that does not connect itself well to it's work base.
