Pros

The good part of working at Staples is that its a good way to move up with in the company.

Cons

Middle management is tough. Staples pay is low because associates are becoming more sales people then just associates. There are a lot of task and checklist that have to be filled out in a short amount of time.

Pros

Develop yourself as a salesman, gain understanding of a business environment, sometimes work with solid teams, working hard gets you promoted, customer interactions mostly enjoyable

Cons

if you expect a promotion you must work hard for little pay, selling warranties gets old quick, under staffing is a huge issue, senior management can be absolutely incompetent, you must rely on your team and most dont care because of the low wages, corporate doesnt care about you, corporate focus changes with the weather
