Staples is a GREAT company! Great training , supportive team and management . Work remote from home with weekly pay.

Cons

Very very stressful job with unrealistic expectations. I held successful sales positions in the past but I literally cried everyday and this job really affected my health and self esteem. Its a continuous hussle with little return.

Cons

My biggest annoyance is that we compete with our inside sales team. You heard that right, we're competing against ourselves and it really hurts us out in the field.

There are a few great, smart people there that are intelligent and smart - they are the ones that make every day great!

Cons

Management, incompetence, company's persistent lies about future, complacency, location (Framingham), absolutely no company culture, mood is miserable and drab. If you are thinking of working here - ABSOLUTELY DO NOT. The company just went through an acquisition - a private equity firm took the company from public to private. The Staples business model is NOT profitable and many of the business units are suffering. The ones that may be somewhat profitable are not big enough to actually make a dent in the business. Most importantly, there are TONS of lay offs and there will be more to come. All the great talent has left and more people are looking to move forward from the giant sinking ship.
