Pros

I liked how upper management ran the place. There were always meetings which were actually quite helpful and I still remember the values I learned when I was a barista there.

Cons

I rarely got comments from the manager on how I was doing. Maybe it was just him, because I know that other managers were more interested in their workers' performance. It's also a job that tests your patience -- a lot.

Pros

Insurance options for part time work but you work hard. Opportuntiy to get your shifts traded with others for time off, meaning, there is flexiblity.

Cons

Management out of touch, constant turnover which makes it hard to have connections with employees. The workforce ends up having to train newbies only to see them leave soon or get fired.Very little pay increase for the increase in skills required to be promoted or even when you have maintained a good file review. This company used to value creativeness and thinking for oneself. That doesn't seem to be the case any more.
