Pros

- You get paid - Bonus - 401k match - Relatively low stress

Cons

- No after-tax contributions for 401k (no backdoor Roth IRA) - HSA ineligible health plans - Low 401k match - No pension - Low pay for SWEs - Contractors are, with some exceptions, very incompetent and need hand-holding with things as basic as version control.
