Pros

It is a job.I have no other pros.

Cons

I have worked very hard for this company for 7 + years. It has recently come to my attention they have been paying me 30,000 less than male counterparts of the same rank as me, regardless how I have actually put in more hours, and have more accomplishments and done more for the company than they have. State street will take advantage of you, especially if you are a woman or a minority. Lay offs occur often, and employees are expected to take on more people’s work often and the work load is forever increasing however pay doesn’t even keep up with inflation. It is hyper competitive and bosses often will remind you how you could be laid off at the drop of a hat. My managers often use humiliation to get people to do what they want. Do not apply here, it will tear down your soul.

Pros

depends on the team, a lot good people work here, job sometimes can be interesting depends on what you do. (my jobs are on SSgM side)

Cons

leadership is abs the worst, don’t care people are leaving. no minority representation in the leadership, no accountability in upper management. a boy club on the top, toxic working env. HR forces people to leave positive review on glassdoor because rating was low and no one wants to work there.

Pros

Flexibility, benefits are decent with the exception of the health plans offered.

Cons

The low ball pay you. Some managers have no compassion for their employees. If you switch departments at year end you don't get your acknowledged for the hard work you put in the previous department before the switch.
