Pros

My coworkers are helpful and experienced, and the program I was hired into set each new employee up with a mentor who has several years of experience in the company. There are many training opportunities available for those wanting to further their education on internal programs as well as broad overviews of the industry. Upper management is very interested in feedback.

Cons

The hiring process needs work; there was a huge gap between the job I accepted and the work I actually do. At my current position there is little internal mobility or opportunity for promotion, which is a problem for me as this is my first job out of college. Communication between departments can be tense, which causes a problem when a client needs something done urgently.

Pros

paycheck. location. not so much micro-management

Cons

lack of professionalism , low pay, no upper management support. upper management does not know how to proceed cash movement of the funds they actually handle, only associate 1 are expected to process cash at hourly deadlines. upper management doesn't have the processing knowledge to jump in and help when cash movement is backed up. They have an annual lay off.

Pros

Work from home, great vacation/personal/sick days

Cons

1) Everyone and their brother is an AVP and VP - titles are simply handed out, not earned 2) low pay - much lower than average salary across the industry 3) little to no movement professionally, no career development, slim chance for a raise or promotion 4) management will retaliate upon giving notice and will take it personally
